Christopher Lee Garland

Christopher Lee Garland (49) of Winston-Salem passed away on April 13th, 2024, at the KBR Hospice Home after bravely battling cancer.

Chris was deeply cherished as a loving father, devoted brother, and dear friend. He leaves behind his beloved children, Carma Plemmons and Willow Garland of Clemmons, NC, who were the pride and joy of his life. Chris also leaves behind his siblings, each of whom held a special place in his heart: Debbie Sharp (Dave) of McLeod, OK; Clinton Garland (Marie) of Marion, NC; Rickey Garland of Burnsville, NC; Tammy Fulp (Michael) of Kernersville, NC; Jason Garland of Burnsville, NC; Kenneth Garland of Morganton, NC; Pamela Metcalf of Toccoa, GA; Buster Garland (Ann) of Burnsville, NC; Dennis Garland (Karren) of Asheville, NC. He will be deeply missed by his 19 nieces and nephews, who adored their uncle Chris.

A celebration of Chris’s life will be held at Tanglewood Park, Walnut Hall in Clemmons, NC, on April 27th, 2024, from 5 pm to 9 pm. During this gathering, Chris's lifelong friend, Anthony Fox, will speak and share cherished memories of their enduring friendship.

Chris’s legacy of love, kindness, and unwavering strength will continue to resonate in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him. His presence will be greatly missed, but his spirit will live on forever.
